Hello I am new to the fourms but I joined because I have heard there is some helpful people with mechanical knowledge on here that have maybe run into the same problem in the past.
So here is my problem when I got my new bike a 2005 YZ250F I took apart the carbaurator to check all the jet sizes to see if they were one hundred percent stock and they were but the problem is I did not have a manual when I took it apart (I do now) and then I accidentally took the throttle positon sensor screw out and then pulled out the throttle positon sensor coupler/throttle position sensor and now have no idea how to put it back on because I just recently took a flat head screw driver and then turned the inside of the throttle positon sensor to try and wind up the spring because that is what I read on this website for a different motorcycle as there is hardly any info on the 2005 YZ250F https://thebikersgarage.wordpress.c...g-a-throttle-position-sensor-on-a-motorcycle/ this then further confused me more because I have turned It many different ways and every time it runs a little bit different and the voltage when checked with a multi meter is not in spec but then sometimes is depending on where I turned the notch and put it on. I have searched all over the internet but not many people have this problem because this piece is not supposed to come off. I have not been able to get one good ride since I bought this bike because of this problem and have been struggling for weeks to get some help on this situation that is why I decided to come on here and get some help. Thank you very much.
