just wondering if you have to disassemble the whole fork to change oil after break-in? can i just remove top "damper", and dump oil (step one in manual) and then fill oil ( last step) or just wondering if air will get in damping rod without removing. I dont really want to remove seals if i dont have to? any ideas helpful thanks for the time

if you want all the oill changed you need to pull apart the damper, theres only 225-250cc of oil in the outer leg, the other 250ish cc's are in the damper unit.

you don't need to remove the fork seals to change the oil, the inner & outer leg will stay as one unit after you pull the internals out of the fork

I didn't do it myself but the guy I take'em to who never worked on them before told me they was just like the showa's. I just had it done like a week ago. He said it wasn't anything different other than the fork caps needed different sizes to take'em off.
