KTM is actually making 144's that will be legal. The first bath they are sending over to the states will be straight up 144's. The rest of them will be 125 long strokes. You will just have to switch out the piston for it to be a 144. So the second batch on of 144's they are sending over will be legal in 125 classes. Now I'm still getting the straight up 144's because I race womens, and it's legal in there. So I'm all good.

I really hate to see things go that direction, regardless of two stroke or four. The "beginner" or "novice" class does not need to have 40+ hp. Heck, on a lot of tighter tracks, you could go just as fast on a bike like that then you could on a 250 2-t or 450F. The novice/"125" class should be engine power limited, if anything they should be lowering the displacement, not increasing it (the 250fs should be 200fs, etc.).
