I remember reading in a post awhile back about how to adjust the air screw. I have a 2002 KX 250.
What is the method for tweaking out the air screw after changing the pilot jet? I think I remember reading that you turn it all the way in, then back out, while running the bike, and then you turn it out until it idles at it's fastest or something.
Then, after that, you turn it back in until you get the best throttle response from idle? How do you test the throttle response? just by reving it up while its on it's stand?
I ask this becuase my pilot/slow jet seems to be to rich, as the bike loves to cold foul, and if you put around for a little bit, it will load up with gas and it takes like 4 seconds of winding it up to clear it out before it runs optimal again.
Also, what throttle range does the air screw effect? just the idle and 1/4 throttle position????
