For youth classes (15 and under on Jan. 1st) - your age for the year is your age as of Jan. 1.

If you're 11 on Jan. 1 and 12 on Jan. 2... you can still race age 7-11 classes... for example.

For adult age classes (+25, +30...) it's your actual age (changes on your birthday)

So I was 15 January 1 but in April i turn 16. When I get my AMA membership for this year I can race in the schoolboy class all year?

MooCow - Yeah, you can race 12-15 schoolboy all of 2001, even though you turn 16 in April.


wardy - I try to keep up with the rules and stuff... I guess I'm just a moto-geek.

Oh, it was pretty cool last night... I made a replica Megacross track on Playstation's Supercross Circuit game. (Now I can actually jump the triple - but the rythm section is a little tough on the game)

Thats funny i never have even tried the triple ....maybe this year.....naaa to much mass to hang in the air to long
