You will need to get the 04 reed boot from KTM if the 300 runs the rad valve.
My '03 is stock, I'm assuming it's the rad valve. The '04 cylinder is much more "upright" than the '03. I'm thinking the angle of the boot would be way different. I'm confused.
according to mototassinari.com (makers of the V-force) the 03 300exc doesn't need the 04 sx boot. Which would also mean that the 03 300exc doesn't run the Rad valve. So just get the v-force and use your 300exc boot.
