best way to get more top end on a 2001 cr125?

im satisfied with my bike everywhere except for the top end power.i like to rev out in the gear im in unless im in a big enough space where i would need to shift.i bought the bike from a long time friend and he told me the bike had been ported by the previous owner.i know that the way it would have been ported would influence the type of power i would have.if it was ported for say low to mid would i be able to do anymore porting to it or would i have to get another cylinder?the other mods to the bike are pro circuit pipe,i switched back to the stock silencer as it had a shorty on it in hopes of getting more overrev but it didn't seem to help much.the bike also has a v-force2 reed valve and the head has been shaved in the motor.any advice would be appreciated

Try an FMF SST pipe and silencer.
