So when I go to ride my dirtbike, I noticed if I pull in the clutch all the way and give it gas the bike moves as if I didn't have the clutch in. A friend of mine suggested it was grooves in the clutch basket. So I took off the clutch plate cover and removed the springs, pressure plates, clutch plates, and the inner hub. Next was the basket. I pulled it to come out but it get caught on something. It will come coward a little but stop. It's able to spin but it's caught on something. Any suggestions??

beat the shit out of it! No really just do what you can to find what it's snagging on and then try to remedy that. Then pry it out being careful not to break the basket. Or just file down the notches while the basket sits there on the shaft.
