Last Saturday night at Byron Motosports Park Eric Gorr was inducted into the Midwest Motocross Hall of Fame. They had a cool ceremony for him, Scott Wallenburg, Olav Aaen, and Carl Berggren who were also inducted. Eric gave a talk and told some great stories including his early days in MX working with Danny "Magoo" Chandler and how that association helped shape the design of modern MX bikes. There was a display with lots of pictures from Eric's work here in the states as well as his time spent as a mechanic on the European GP circuit. Our buddy Vic Krause was there and we all had a grand old time swapping stories, and doing our best to recall which were actually true. LOL

It was a well deserved honor for Eric and it was fun to get to be a part of it.

I have one of his autographed books. Was the go to source for me back in the day. Wore it out with grease and grime, bought a spare I think I ended up giving to a kid that was learning how to work on his own bike .
