I am leaking out the over flow. I lowered the float quite a bit but that didn't help. (maybe it slowed it down a little) I inspected the needle, it doesn't look perfect, but not to bad. But what about the seat, it looks pressed in. Is that changeable, if so how. I put the float in a bowl with gas, it seems like it should float higher, can you tell me how to check that.

Thanks for any help.

I didn't think the floats were hollow, either way, I shook it and could not hear or feel gas inside. I plan on reclacing the needle, but I have always bought a needle and seat kit before, is that not the case on this bike. My newest bike previus to this one was a 91 ktm.

Thanks for replying.

I don't think that the brass float valve seat on keihin carbs is replacable. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. My float valve on my 01 YZ250 wore 2 grooves in my seat so I would love to replace just the seat if possible.
