Have been wondering the same thing - looking at a 2002 125SX but would like to try this option first. I have already added a DOMA header and tailpiece - huge improvement over stocker, and going to put some BOYESEN's Power Reeds to get some extra grunt. :p Hate to sound ignorant, but will it involve just removing the flywheel weight or adding a lighter unit???

I used to have a TM125e that I raced enduros and Motocross on.

on that the stator was bolted on the outside of the flywheel and used to come of easy. I used to take that off and put a shorty silincer on for motocross and was like riding a different bike. It made the power very snappy

It made a huge difference

Anyways dunno if u can do it on a KTM :)
