The other day my dumbass thought it would be a great idea to go riding in the cold rain, i hit a big patch of ice and ate ****. My throttle is now stuck on full throttle constantly. I can still twist throttle freely but it just idles at full. I tried adjusting and shimming the throttle cable but that didnt help. any ideas on what the problem could be?

The outside of the cable may have pulled out of the top of the carb and gotten hung up. That you hold the slide wide open. Or the cable could be hung up on the frame somewhere between the throttle and the carb.

I once had a bike with a loose needle in the carb. If you ever twisted the throttle fully it would allow the needle to come out of the main jet and hang. The slide would be help wide open. I would pull the carb off and make sure the slide moves when you twist the throttle.

Bark Busters.
If you trail ride you need Bark Busters.
With them on your handlebars can become offensive weapons and parking props with no fear.

Oh yes. #6 sheet metal screws in the tire lugs. Ride ice without fear.
