I'm going to college out in Montana and I'm planning on buying a car/truck so I can bring my dirt bike with me. I won't have anywhere to store the bike so i want to make sure i get a truck/car that i can haul my bike in without worring about it. Anyone know if there are any good truck bed caps that will fit a dirt bike in them? I know I pickup is my best option but I need to make sure my bike is not visible to the public while its parked on school grounds. Any suggestions on what I should do?

Local storage building is the best bet. Anything left out for a long time is subject to being stolen. At least with a storage building you can lock your part and have it behind a fenced and monitored location. I do not trust bikes even in vans with no windows or enclosed trailers for longer than an overnight stay and that is only depending on where and how I park to make it difficult to get out.

A storage unit also makes a better place to work on the bike than a sidewalk!
