Hard to start after 607 Boyesen Reeds

I just installed Boyesen 607 Power Reeds and now the 200 KDX is hard to start. I'm at sea level, 60F, jetting 155 main, 48 pilot with the needle in the 2nd clip position. Air lid removed, with FMF woods pipe. Any idea's is appreciated.

Good reeds require leaner jetting (that's how it is with the RAD valve anyway). I'd go with a 45 pilot (the rest sounds fine), turn my air screw out to 1 1/2 (for starters), and check for vacuum leaks around the reed block and intake.

does it have a new plug? and has plenty of spark?
On a two stroke hard to start is usually an indication of lean

My original post was in error, my pilot is actually a 45. The air screw was set at 1 1/2 but I made it a total of 2 1/2 turns out. Went to kick it over and it almost started on the first start. Thus, the pilot must still be too rich. Orginally I had the stock jets (160, 48) and the bike was not only hard to start but would bog... when accelerating. I thought the bog was a sign of being to lean, but when I leaned it out (155, 45) it got rid of the bog on acceleration. I think I may need to go down one more size on the jetting. Yep, sounds like a 42 is the answer. That's what I run, but I'm quite a bit over sea level (2800'...then go up from there). My bike likes the air screw around 1 1/4 out.
