OMG, those are funny! using for the rear # plate the like 2000 YZ units and rear/front fender. Then they use late model CRF radiator shrouds!

swingarm looks heavy. Also still couldnt do the left side kick. yuck!

My younger son David can kick the CR480 while sitting. 240 my eye, he weighs 245 at least! I have to start it off the bike, and I look stupid at the 97 CR250 for a minute? I have always, or generally, mount from the left side anyways. The Maico, just like most euro, the bike will never be competitive in MX. Not since 79 or so?

Very nice! I have a soft spot (on my head) for Maicos since I started racing when they where the bikes to have.

I love to try and ride one, like the 700,

the 250's stroke is bigger then its bore!

Yeah, outrageous. I think it was 760cc even, but only made 45 HP, but the torque!!!!
Did they even do a production run of them??

Pretty sure the 2010 700 M.M.X. he is referring to is somewhere in the neighborhood of 86hp.

Jeeeezus.

I really like what the company is doing. Almost all the improvements done for 2011 will be available as bolt on's for the 2010 models. Pretty neat. All that hand crafted aluminum is dead sexy too!

Oh right. Well I was thinking he was talking about the 760 from 1979, which was only 44 HP. there's a review of it online @ superhunky
New one must be less stroke to make 86 HP.
Wonder if they'll sell me just a motor?

There's no way that a single cylinder 4 stroke would be making 86 HP, so it must be a two stroke...man that thing would be a beast!

I can picture me on a 700 MMX setup Super Moto, street fighter style. Love to see the faces of the crotch rocket riders in the rear view, oh wait, I'd be on the rear wheel doing 20+mile wheelies!
