Just look at the old one and follow the same route.
You can tie a string to one end and the other to your new cable, so it follow the same route as you remove the old one.

I'm not sure on a KTM but can't you tell which end goes where by looking at the old one. on my kx there is a little rubber sleeve on the end that goes on the clutch. just take the old one off and put the new one on the same way.

On my YZ 250 the end that goes to the clutch is much smaller than the end that goes in the clutch lever on the bars.

the end that goes into your clutch lever should have an adjustment area right next to it on the cable itself which you can adjust for tension. Other than that you should be able to tell just by looking at the old cable.
