just browsing thru mx-racer. layout of husqvarna's new motocrosser, tc 250 with electric start. went to their webpage, husqvarnausa.com , but no specs yet, just photos...Does anyone know about this bike, like weight and such? they are also making a 450 4stroke. both for motocross and enduro.

In the US it is suppose to be 450 for both enduro and MX, but overseas it is suppose to be 400 for enduro and 450 for MX.

From the stat sheet
the TC250 will be about 30lbs more than the CR125
and the TC450 will be about 20lbs more than the CR250.

With the difference in weight I might be tempted to go for the WR360 instead of the 4-stroke.

That's what I thought too, but recently I was told there will be no 400's at all.

So does the .au husky site. They just haven't been updated yet apparently :). At least I hope I'm right as I want a 450, and was considering the mx model until I heard about the te400 being scrapped.

What my dealer has told me about the 450 is that the Euro FIM 400cc thumper class is being changed to 450cc for next year. There will be TE450's for Euro enduro class and TC450's for AMA MX. This will make the new Honda 450 and the Yamaha WR426 legal in this class as well.
