I just wanted to know who was coming to the "event" that was just tagging along.  My family has been back and forth about coming, and it doesn't look like their is much to do in reno other than ski, or gamble,  so, any wifes just sittin around?  how about kids too?  might help to know so they can figure it out.

               Thanks,

Well.......I'm still considering coming. I went in '02 and had an absolute blast. My wife and I were talking about it last night. I drug her along on '02 trip and regretted it. While we were riding, she was stuck by herself in the casino spending lots of my money. She's talking about coming along again, but may bring her Aunt with her this time. I'll let ya know if I'm bringing the "tag-a-longs" when I get the logistics figured out.

Hey guys. I have brought my wife along for the last 3 out of 4 years of this ride. She does not ride.

She likes to go to the movies and window shop while I"m out riding. There's a couple of shopping malls in Reno and movie theaters located a few blocks from the Peppermill. All the major casino's have a day spa for them to get pampered in.

My wife and I will attend 1 dinner with the DRN family and 1 night out for us.

She understands that this weekend is all about my riding, but yet insists that I thrown in at least one romantic evening to keep the home front happy........

Hope this helps

Julie came with me last year and she was just fine hanging out around camp chatting with the other ladies and folks. This year we are going skiing on friday since that's what she likes to do. Once the sun sets it's good food, friends, gambling and drinking!

I guess I'm pretty lucky because Julie is content reading a book and just hanging out with the others while I'm out riding. I do however make sure we spend our time together at night.

Here is an idea. Make a reservation for he to get a massage at the hotel. Make it a suprise. I did this one year and it went over very well.

Lots of kids and wives will be there so if they are the least bit social bring them.

I brought my wife with me for the first time last year. She hung out at the hotel and worked on photo albums. She also did a little shopping. She had a good time and it gave her a chance to rest up (3 kids 6,3,1) She is coming again this year and may bring a friend........
