Thanks PK... Always wanted an XR75 when I was a kid now I have 2 of them. For my kids of course :) Too bad all the places I could have rode one when I was growing up are gone.

'79 was the first year of the XR80. Last year of the down pipe too.

hmm maybe I had a 78 then cause it was definitely a xr75. Time to go hunting for a picture.

Found an air leak between the intake manifold and the head. Nothing a little high-temp RTV silicone couldn't fix. Now to mount the plastic and apply the graphics.

My oldest son is excited. Still need to add graphics, fabricate a chain guide and finish dialing in the jetting.
