Great so Jesse James & Tiger Woods take a beat down for something my brother in law and a lot of other men AND women in the country do? Is what they did right? No I don't think so but I also don't think they should be singled out because they are for sure not alone.

Wow, I have serious PCDD (pop culture deficit disorder). Entertaining thread, but I have no idea who this guy is. Thought he was shot in the back 120 years ago or so.... But I would LOVE to shoot a 50-cal machine gun. At anything.

I'm glad they are singled out and these types of activities are not condoned or swept under the rug for celebrities.

They put themselves in the limelight and reaped the rewards and now they get to see their life on display for all the bad they did as well.

I only feel sorry for their family who have to suffer due to the indiscretions.

Either way, Jesse would have been a tool if he never made it on tv. Being on tv just lets everyone else see how much of a tool he is.

Same with Tiger and his fakeness.

LOL, who cares? Why care? There's not enough room in my head to be concerned about TV stars.

So Ivan at what level is the line drawn? CEO of what size corporation? Bill Gates is a pretty popular guy but he's not a celeb in the TV/Movie sense. I mean since we are passing judgement on how an individual lives their life shouldn't we establish a specific set of rules since aparently they are not universally applied to everyone?

The same thing happens to anyone who does something like this, just on a smaller scale. The only difference is the audience of who knows what happened.

I'm not passing judgement on how he lives his life. He can sleep with blow up dolls for all I care. As long as its legal it is his business. But when someone does something immoral or illegal and has to pay the piper for it I don't feel sorry for them in the least. They reap what they sow.

If you are in the public eye and make a living off of ratings and how you are perceived on television then when you do something stupid you have to pay the piper and you can't complain about intrusion from the press. If it wasn't for the press or the viewers he wouldn't have made a living as well as he has.

But he's a tool and this is just another example of it. He has low morals, little talent and got lucky being on tv.

Sorry if he's a hero of yours but I just call it like I see it.

about the "goon dirt bike rider"

Rich Rohrich said:
You guys watch way too much TV. :coocoo:
That's Quite Accurate.. Mr. James himself has stated, "I'm just a glorified welder that builds bikes"
If you knew the sharks (producer types) that promote his shows, the cynical-arrogance of his on screen persona would seem justified.
In the business of tv production, the guy must deal with a story development team, writers who come up with a script, the production designer, the art department, the producers & the director
& the advertisers, week in, weak out. It's not by any means easy.
Most of the afore mentioned people don't ride & half of them are probably gay. That's the reality of it all. It's all a BIG CIRCUS!
Even if the guy is a womanizer, a- hole, goon dirt bike rider, or what ever, He's sold his talents & developed his rep into what it is today, successfully, & made good bank at it. GO MR. JAMES!
When people watch TV, they support all of this. :bang:
(maybe Mr. woods & Mr. James could make a sponsorship deal with Viagra?) :whoa:
ps. His show is not on my viewing list, spending time being amused by you folks on drn is, when i have time....

I feel zero sympathy for these circle jerks. That includes the one's that aren't on TV. Jesse James is a moron. Tiger Woods is a moron, Joe Blow form next door who cheated on his family is a moron. It's all about values and these losers have none (but they do have fat bank accounts). Eff them and their overhyped personalities. The only thing I dispise even more is the fact that you just can't get away from this garbage. It is everywhere...

Spot on Porkchop. Having worked in your industry I can attest to the fact that these people are the most screwed-up, self-centered, egomainiacs bordering on sociopaths on the planet. Why anyone would want to be like these people is beyond me. They all believe they are above the law and morals that apply to the rest of us don't apply to them.

They have a little entourage of people around them telling them every day how great they are and kissing their butts at every opportunity. And also protecting them from the press when they screw up. The people around Tiger knew for years what a cheating scumbag he was but they covered it up.

I can't believe how people want to emulate them. There are very few people in this world more screwed up in the head than entertainers. With out a doubt, the most wacked out bunch I have ever been around. :coocoo: And that's quite a statement since I've been around some of you guys. ;) :nener:

I think JJ is going to be the big loser in this deal. I'm sure Sandra Bullock will get along just fine without him.

The sad part about this is it makes all men look like cheating scumbags.

Since I choose not to base my life / morals/ etc... off of what others do let alone what "famous" people do it all is not a big deal to me. The drama of it being real life or soap opera drama just doesn't matter.

I for one never do, its very pathetic to see anyone waste away in such a manner, even professional tv vidiot idols, not mine by the way. Or the prestigious young pro MX racers. Vintage Bob
