KTM450 MXC rumoured for 2003!!!

Just a line from another talk group. KTM are apparently testing a 450 RFS in readiness for a 450 C.C. 4T limit to the 250 stroker class.
Loads of top riders in Europe rate the 450 C.C. capacity as 'the ideal' for a power/weight/manoueverability ratio.

Heres a blurb about it from motorcycledaily.com. Its kinda confusing since I thought the AMA's new displacement limits started in 2003. Regardless of that a 450 KTM is probably in the works.

It's not a rumor. The 450 is coming in 2002 a a factory bike, and will be a production model for 2003. The thing about it being an MXC is BS at this moment.
Enduro bikes will not be changed in cc's at least for 2003, although I would really like a 450 EXC.

OK, how about the rumor that KTM will have an 85sx for 2003?

From an inside source, late '03 model release is suspected. The bike will be a top contender for the 85 class. Strong motor, WP suspension, etc....

Can't wait. Should be out just in time for my son to make the jump to the 85 class full-time.
