Hey guys and gals,
Im going to be racing my 1999 yz 125 in a Hare scramble this weekend and was wondering what you reccomend i do to make it a more friendly woods beast. I have a fmf pipe and silencer, and the motor is ported and polished. I was thinking of a flywheel weight but what size? 9oz?11oz?12oz? and was also thinking of carbon tech low end reeds. So what do you guys reccomend. Keep in mind i still want it to be good on the track also.
Thanx

I'd leave the bike the way it is. Try it for the first race, and if you need changes, then make them. No need to spend $$$ when you don't have to..

I used to race one in similar events pretty well stock. Just back of the clickers a bit from your MX settings and thats about all they need.

I did put in Boysen reeds, a Procircuit muffler, 50 t rear sprocket and hand guards.

Good Luck
