May 7th and 8th I drove several KTM 4-strokes (400, 520 and 250 bored to 300) for a couple of hundred miles in Moab Utah on some of the greatest trails I have every ridden, but after putting about 50 miles on my new 04 KDX-200, I wish I could have ridden it out there. The KTM's were nice, but the KDX feels soooo light compared to those 4-strokes. This bike puts a smile on my face that I can't seem to remove.

You've gotta love two strokes, the weight (or lack thereof) and powerband make them a pleasure to ride. Nothing annoys me more than having to walk down a hill to help my mate pick up his fat, overwight WR400 cos he cant do it by himself.

Viva la two-stroke!

I don't even like riding my KLX-400SR in the dirt now because it feels soooo heavy. I might have to convert it to a Motard bike for the street. I think the KDX would make a perfect dual sport bike, but that'll never happen in my state. :(
