Working on building a frame jig for a couple of projects I have rattling around in my head. It's time to go riding now but I'll post later with some project updates.

Thanks Pete. There are a couple of other fun projects going on in my shop as well. A Hayabusa drag/LSR bike, a 511cc CRF Supermoto, a Triumph Bonneville Street Tracker, and a Honda Relex morphing into a Sammy Miller TLR replica. I'll post up some proper pictures and some details when I have a few minutes.

Made some progress on my frame jig for the Yamaha LC350 based drag/LSR bike I'm building. This will be a hardtail frame and the rear of the bike will adjustable up or down a couple of inches. IMG-1007.JPG IMG-1006.JPG IMG-0994.JPG

Project "do something with all those cool old LC & RD parts in my shop" nudges incrementally forward. These pics are a lower frame cradle to center the chassis in the jig, and some further tuning of the steering tube holding mechanism. I built the lower rails of the jig 2" apart so I could use 123 blocks and inexpensive 2" square tubing for the various bits and pieces I'll need to hold things relative to the frame center line. I center scribed and squared a couple of pieces of 0.250" wall 2" square tubing that I can drop into the lower jig rails so I can visualize my centerline and verify positioning with plumb bobs. If you haven't figured this out already I'm making this up as I go along. A bit frustrating at times but it's been really fun.
