i just recently bought my first dirt bike about 3 weeks ago a 2001 cr125. ( i finally switched from quads) its a great bike, still gotta get used to the 2 stroke engine. i was wondering if anyone knew how much oil exactly to put in the crankcase. i have the oil, but i dont know how much to put in. also, is there a dipstick somewhere on this bike, if not how do u know how much oil is in there? one more question, right where the head pipe comes off the engine head, theres always oil right there. is that normal? thanks

My Honda manual states 0.60 US Qt. (0.57 Liter) of 10W-40. There is an oil check bolt (phillips head screw) on the right-side case cover. When the trans is full, oil will weep out of the hole when the screw is removed. We use Honda semi-synthetic in my son's CR 125 (2001).
