My first bike was an old KX250 with an XR200 engine in it. 2nd bike was a 97 KLX250 which got stolen. Bike I'm riding now is a 2005 RMZ450. Good fun.

yamaha of course

I love yamaha, personally i think honda is too show offy.. and not as much about motocross as looking good and being "pretty". yamaha is a bike for sport and gettin dirty and getting you down the track.. im not saying honda is a bad bike.. just usually they are used to show off... just my personal preference.. peace

Not sure why (probably because they are the best:)) but I always had Kawasaki KX and KDX as dirt bike and Suzuki GSXR for road riding

I've always felt most comfortable on KX's. I've tried other brands here and there and always return to Kawasaki. For instance, the last non-Kawi bike I tried was a 2001 RM250 and it definitely didn't feel in the league of the KX. It felt cheaper and toy-like, wasn't nowhere near as stable, and didn't have the raw pull your arms out of the socket power of my KX250's. There's a little whoop section on the abandon train tracks by me where I could always go pinned out on the KX's and they just tracked perfectly straight but the RM would swap back and forth in the rear and didn't feel anywhere near as stable.

I guess most of you like Honda and yamaha. I prefer Suzuki because it;s been over 5 years since I had it and so far, so good

OMG! Only 11 Husky owners on here... :whoa:

2000 Husqvarna CR250 here. I love the bike. Very rare, and I never see anyone else with one. But a huge pain in the butt to get help or find parts for it.

I know this is an old thread, but what about people that have more than one brand? I have two Hondas, one Kawasaki, and one Yamaha.

What the heck? :whoa: I didn't even own most what I have now when this thread started.

Honda - main ride
Kawasaki - close second
Husky - vintage 70's
Yamaha - street

Nothing newer than '06.
