That is unless you like to crash..

it works good when u are going off the jump to be just a little off the seat and bettween the middle and back

There are many variables that go into deciding where to position yourself for different jumps. Things like how hard you are accelerating, what gear you are in, how much traction you have, how steep (and tall) the takeoff is, etc.

What is going wrong for you (other than the obvious that Indy mentioned about NOT actually being on the seat when taking off)?
