Racing Enduro with WR450 04

Is the WR450 04 competitive against the new bike models or it is considered an old crap bike? I plan to race Enduro and Hare Scrambles.

It's probably less an issue with hardware as it is driver skill. How are your skills? The WR450 ought to be a great bike for honing those skills.

I know a lot of guys that ride WR450s on enduros. In my club they are probably the second favorite bike, next to the KTM 450exc. If the enduro is running the timekeeping format then a WR450 is great!
