thanks, Nikki! I'll be buzzing PMC and politely asking, "say wha...??"

Will reply back with response.

But yes, rates can change that quickly. A lot of major casino hotels have a changing/sliding scale as rooms get reserved. Supply and demand, eh...

Cheers! - RandyB

Chili - come on down!! The riding is awesome and so is the nightlife! Plus you'll be due for a break from the Canada winter come February! And no Minneapolis SX this year.......

I'm giving it some serious thought. The big issue for me would be travel since the motorhome would be winterized and stored, basically unaccessible until late march. I'm considering hitting up a buddy to see if I can borrow his truck and just toss the bike and the basics in the back and head down. What about bike security? Is there somewhere safe I can leave the bike once we get there instead of in the back of a pickup at the hotel?

As far as SX goes I'm looking at St.Louis as one of the 2 closest options and it falls during a decent stretch in my schedule. Probably going to save the cash though and commit to Millville for sure this year.

Chili: we all locked our bikes to the traler that Tony brought out. with all of the people that camped out at moonrocks (me, the Canadans, and other peeps) there were plenty of people to look after the bikes 24 hours a day

Dang!!

Is it that time already???

If I still havet he 250, someone can borrow it.

Nik and Red, you need a lift from the Aeropuerto? I promise we'll leave earlier next time so you don't miss your flight back to Chicago. Although it was kinda fun bringing you back to Modesto for Mexican food and 4 hours of TV before the next flight :nener:

Reservations made in the Motor Lodge!

Leave Dallas afternoon of the 16th
Arrive Reno afternoon of the 17th
Ride 18th, 19th, 20th
Leave Reno morning of the 21st
Arrive Dallas morning of the 22nd

As Randy said ... make your reservations and DO NOT make them on line. The rates were a LOT higher on line than I got via Ma Bell.

Now I have to get plane tickets for my kids. :yeehaw:

She has been spanked and it will not happen again.

What won't happen again - the spanking or leaving kiwi to roam the streets of Reno. For your sake I hope it's the kiwi option :nener:

The guy who wrote that article was obviously not riding with a local.or he would be writing about some of the epic canyons and washes out there.

Now that he 24 hour race is history, I can begin thinking about Reno. Have already made reservations for the MotorLodge and Winnemucca for the trip down. Katy and I are looking forward to our second trip to Moonrocks. It will be good to see our "new" Reno friends again. :yeehaw:

I hope Strick plans some more of the great evening get-togethers like we had last year. Thank you in advance to Strick.

A little warning about Nat (aka GETMETOCA): After watching her at the 24 hour race, I can tell you she is much faster than last year and will be outriding many that she couldn't hang with last year. :ride:

Good times!

Parole officer says I can go. :)

Any word from the Canadians yet?

As for Natalie, that is SO true: She is far too modest.

I was just out at the moon rocks on Sunday and the conditions are fantastic! It is amazing what a little rain will do. It looks like I will be bringing a group of about 10 or more family and friends with me for the 05 Reno ride.

I'm toying with the Idea of going again, but I gotta see if I am coming alone, or with some other people. I need a little more info on the area. If momma comes, what can she do in town, besides gamble?

There are some entertainment shows, the kind your thinking of and also clean cut ones! We went to an impersonator show which was actually very entertaining and reasonably priced as I remember. Maybe the locals have a few more ideas.
