Being fairly new to SoCal riding, I'm looking for a goor place to go ride, north of Los Angeles, and where there aren't any track politics, and pretty much where my wife (better rider than I am!!!), can just go goof around. Last time I rode in SoCal, we had Tuna Canyon in Malibu, and Porter Ranch in the San Fernando Valley. Tuna Canyon's long gone, and there's a Walmart where I used to practice jumps in Porter Ranch. We checked out Piru MX up on Hwy 126, and we'd be in others' way. And I don't necessarily need a perfect track like that. Any ideas very welcome and appreciated! My wife has a red sticker; mine's green. So a privately owned place would be great too. We both have 30+ years dirt riding behind us, but in our 40s, we're not looking to race or practice for FMX (you get a stronger fear of broken bones after about age 25). My wife was competing in some events in South Texas in the 90s, so she's not your typical MX Mom. In fact, she worked as a stuntwoman doing MX tricks for a couple of movies and a commercial. Me; nothing. Maybe I did a wheelie in 1983.

Thanks, Charles & Kay
