RM250 water pump bad?

is this water pump bearing bad? heard you shouldnt be able to move.



its a 1995 RM250

Dont know if its bad but mine has done that for as long as i remember and its still fine.

Why not just replace the bearing, or rebuild the water pump while you have it apart? It's not expensive.
