RM80 power valve adjuster

My little sister is doing a top end job on her 94 rm80 and she took the power valve all apart and didnt remember how it goes back together i have everything back together i just need to know how many turns the adjuster should be.

Are you talking about the cap on the left side of the exhaust valve( when you are sitting on it) that hooks onto a spring with two philips holding it on? If that's the one, my manual says once it engages with the spring, you turn it clockwise one turn. Hope this helps.

my clymer manual says the same thing, there should be an alignment mark on the cap retainer, put the retainer on so the mark is on top, then line the cap up with the mark(with no spring tension), it says to make one complete turn so the cap realigns with the mark again and tighten the retainer...
