I have a hard hesitation/stuttering problem from 1/4 throttle to wot and its NOT the jetting/reeds/air filter/float level/and anything else that would effect the jetting. The bike is a 2005 250SX. Several people have told me it was the stater and KTMs are known to have electrical problems. I dont have a service manual to check it the stater. What kind of problems does a bad stater usually cause? How exactly do you go abouts checking to see if its bad? I havent checked the compression b/c i dont have a compression gauge but it will be the next thing on my list to check
