Reading FMF TurbineCore info the other day, 'Repack every 12-20 hours'.

Wow. So what happens to the stock SA after over a YEAR of riding most every weekend?

How long can the stock unit be used (jetting good, no spooge) before it starts to effect power output?

So many things to buy..so little deniro..

The life of mine was 1 ride....

FMF Turbine Core II in it's place.
It was easier to loose the weight there than diet for a few weeks.... :D

Not to worry CC the stock silencer doesn't use packing. Once in a while remove the bolt on the btm and drain any spoog that might have built up and you are good to go.

One ride! Wow thats twice the service life I got out of my whole exhaust system, good news is the next guy that gets my bike will have a factory fresh system in a box along with that airbox frisbee, the handle bars, the brush gaurds, the front & rear springs, the narrow foot pegs, the stock gearing & the annoying little fender bag that always hits you in the back when your about 95% out of control. :o

Well, the fender bag is still on my bike, but the rest of the parts are boxed up for the next guy also.

Chances are, if he knows anything about KDX's, he won't want them either...
