Suzuki RL250 parts???

Where is a good source for parts for this bike. Many years ago someone once pointed out the threaded holes located on the frame that did not seem to have any use and said that RL250s were just TM250 frames set up for trials(gearing, tank, seat, shocks etc..) at the factory. Is this true?
