well

well, lets see, i'm also a freshman in highschool so money is hard to come by, but here goes, my first bike was half present from my parents so i only had to pay 600, then the gear, bought my helmet for 90, used thor boots for 50 from a friend, and some goggles for 30, then gloves for 30 as well. so now im at 800, the my atk for 1500, that puts me at 2300, then factor in gas and maintanence and some repairs, and im around 2600 i believe, but money well spent, and the work pays off :) and i would probably give my left thumb to ride :ride:

Oh I tohught this was for how much I spen on my bike..well with rebuilds and oils and fuels and tires and rims and reeds and new plastics(we all fall down) damn I would say maybe 5000 a year in stuff plus gear..which is well worth it...well for a 2 stroke maybe less ofr a 4 stroke.. i ride every weekend on trails and every othe day around my house. I think tires and fuel/oil is probably up there.
And lets not even talk about my street bike I use onky the best lubricants for that thing Lucas oils. My engine oil is like 14 bucks a quart and that 4 quarts plus gas and tires..brakes seem to last longer on a street biek just cause engine breaking helps..and gear so I don't pick my skin of the asphalt in total geez maybe 7500+..and don't even talk about trail wheeling my suzuki samurai its well in the 9000+ for all three of those bad boys but well worth every minute of it either on the streets or on the trails or in the shop working on one of them its all great.

Well this year will be A LOT more then my normal year(about $200)

This year i`m buying a new engine*$220*
And other parts to get my 175 running
fixing up the KD with new plastics
Have to buy a new wheel for the KD
probably gonna have to rebuild the top-end of the KD before next year

so probably $700-1000 this year
Man this is a bad year for me(since the most i spend on stuff is about $25-50 when i go buy stuff..oil,gas,grips,etc)

And this is just trail riding!

i`m going hate to see the "bills" when i get a ninja :|

Between my 96 CR250 ($1200) and my girlfriends 97 XR100 ($500) plus gear and other things.. probably about $2500 this year. Would be more considering we rent a trailer every time we go, plus gas to get there and regular maintenance on the bikes :o Expensive hobby, but well worth it :)

I just bought my first bike and I've already spent $4G. 3g on the bike and another 1000 in gear, accy's and maintenance. I also snowmobile in the winter, and that's even more expensive.

I think for next year I'll sell both the bike and sled and take up a crack habit. It will probably be cheaper. :|

pay vs. VALUE

 If considering the cost per mile or minute ridden, over the last 43 years, I think the value of it all is priceless. My most coveted friends have all been met riding, & i have known many, many folks from several different activities & venues in life. the best of the best, all ride.
Money well spent. Best Regards, Porkchop...
