I'm looking for a flexible boot. one thats not so stiff so I can feel my gear shifter/brake lever a little better,I know that stiff boots protect your feet, ankle better, but most that I have had in the past are like walking with boards strapped to your feet! Maybe alpine tech-10's

I like my boots stiff, so I'm no help. I have a pair of Fox Forma Pros and Alpinestar Tech 8's, and I kind of like the Fox a little better. I don't really like the two-forward, two-rear buckles on the Tech 8's.

I have only had 1 pair of boots: fox forma pro, and I'll tell you this much, I will NEVER even bother trying any other pair of boots i love them so much. They seem plenty strong enough to protect your feet/shin, but they aren't so stiff and robotic like that you have a hard time walking in them, or a hard time feeling your shifter.

They also look very nice In my opinion.

Made the switch from Tech 8's to Gaerne SG10's, and the SG10's are my boot of choice. Quite a few of our riding buddies have switched too.

Cowboy :) No but seriously I have a cheap pair of Thors I bought for like $100 like 4 years ago and hate Them. If I rode more I would get the fox formas my partner has some and they are way more comfortable than my chepies.

I really like my Tech 6 booths for comfort, but they are not the most water tight boot made. The best advice is to go to your local dealer(s) and try them all on to see what feels best to you.
