Will it be ok to use a wire brush.

When i got my cr125 for some reason the last owen never had the flywheel cover gasket on it and the flywheel has some how got rust on it' im just wondering if i coult clean it with a wite bush just to clean it up abit.

Should not be a problem. You can also go to your local grocery store and buy a gallon of vinegar for a few bucks and soak it in the vinegar for a couple of days. The vinegar will eat the rust and not hurt the flywheel. :cool: Works great on rusted metal gas tanks too because it won't damage the paint.

Iv given it a clean with the wire brush looks 100% better.
