does anyone know the correct fork oil capacity of a 2000 xr 70 thank you!

ive got a shop manual it says 4 ounces but that fills them to the top. and they are like i ridged pipe with no travel like that. the dealer says he only shows a 2005 70 crf takes 2.6 ounces. i did that and they seem fine with that. thanks anyway.
