Yet another newbe question.

I rode my WR400 in the desert for 6 hours, and at a certain point, oil started dripping from the airbox draining hole. what does this mean ?

You didn't get rid of the excess air filter oil?

When you run high speed four-strokes hard for extended periods they tend to blow some oil out the crankcase vent. On the WRs the crankcase vent is run into the air box. It's perfectly normal.
