yet another top end

i know you guys are all prolly sick and tired of questions bout top ends rebuilds i picked up a bike ran great while i was on leave from iraq 2 days before heading back i siezed the top end i mean the piston and cyclinder got welded to each other anyhow i order a new cycinder and top end kit with all the gaskets needed i dont know if i need to hone out the brand new cyclinder or what also how much oil do you guys use in pretreating the cyclinder wall and piston befre ya put it together and what oil did you use

i would guess the new cylinder comes with crosshatch, you will know when you see it if you need to home it.

i use premix oil and soak it on a paper towel and just coat the cylinder and piston

If your putting in a new piston bearing id, also coat that in premix.
