On the clutch cover, loosen the locknut and turn the adjuster screw clockwise until you feel reisitance, then back off a quarter turn. Tighten the locknut while holding the screw to keep it from turning.
If the clutch is dragging, you may have other issues.
Thanks, Vic. I had the clutch cover off so I could paint it, and I moved the adjustment when I put it back together with a new stainless nut and washer.
Not sure about the idle. It doesn't do that. :) I rebuilt the stock carb, but its performance is less than impressive. I'm considering using an XR70 carb to feed the Kitaco 75cc big bore.
I made a special trip to Wally World to buy the proper oil. I'm running Castrol 10w30.
