Man...
that short bike corners! |

Rich
is Pull'in away! |
 |
See
Gomer.
See Gomer Fly. |
 |
Didn't
take Gomer long to start nailing the triple. |
 |
Too
bad pics don't do it justice... it's higher and steeper than it
looks here. Going over the top Gomer performed a beautifully executed
face plant. |

They
didn't think I'd post this one. Okie looking for a bag to hurl in...
long story. |

High Lord Gomer &
Rich Rohrich
Excellent riding weather, well, maybe a little chilly, track was fantastic
after a few laps. Gomer was in the Chicago area on business, we enjoyed
his visit to OTN. Took him about 3 laps to get fast.
I understand he play's down his riding ability on the message boards,
Rich and I are here to dispel that rumor; the man can ride.
Later in the day a long time friend of Rich's showed up with a hot KX
125, was great to see "Bud" and Gomer going at it. A lot of
passing going on. Hard to say who would have won if these guys got serious,
the racing got cut a little short when Gomer tried to go wide (see 6th
pic down on the left) up and over the "mini plateau". Didn't
work. After a few minutes of body check, Gomer was back at it. Bud felt
bad about running over him, and said "Don't try to pass me again".
Okay, so that's not what he said :) truth is there was nowhere else
he could go.
The weather reports called for thunderstorms all day and a high in the
low 40's. Okie should not listen to the weather reports. Had I known
we would ride, the party Saturday night would have been cut short. I
spent the day with rum oozing from my pores. And Gomer thinks I'm just
a nice guy cause I let him ride my KX all day... :)
