Although the late night rain created ruts in the low areas, if it hadn’t rained the new Mt. Morris layout would have been a dirt road race. As it was, lap times were 1 minute and 55 seconds.
Ex-Champ Ryan Villopoto flew in to do a special Friday demonstration, but it got rained out on Friday. The Champ finally looks happy.
Blake Baggett not only won his second race out of four, but he came from almost no where to earn the red plate for next week at Muddy Creek (and he has the 450 points lead).
Jason Anderson joined Blake Baggett on the podium for the second week in a row. Anderson went 5-3 for second overall.
There is no doubt that Eli Tomac has the speed and the fitness, but he hasn’t been able to put all the piece sof the puzzle together. A crash in the first moto left him mired in the pack (and he stayed there). Winning the second moto salvage some pride, …
