Hey there. Today’s video is a simple trick to keep the axle tight against the adjustment blocks when tightening the axle nut. It’s something that my buddy Scott showed me a couple of years ago when he saw me putting a tire back on my bike and struggling to keep the thing tight.
Just wad up a shop towel or paper towel and put it in between the chain and the sprocket and roll the tire back a bit. The pressure causes the Axel to be tight agains the blocks, then you tighten your Axel nut. Easy.
