First ride 2021 Honda CRF450 Works Edition

The 2021 Honda CRF450 Works Edition is a modified version of the highly anticipated 2021 Honda CRF450 and a toned down replica of the HRC Honda factory CRF450 race bikes that Ken Roczen and Chase Sexton have been using in AMA Supercross. As always, Motocross Action was excited to try out the updated model. The updates include a full titanium Yoshimura exhaust system, a Hinson clutch basket and cover, hand polished cylinder ports and a red cylinder head cover, titanium nitride-coated fork legs and a titanium nitride-coated 18-millimeter shock shaft. It also has stronger D.I.D LT-X rims, the factory HRC Honda graphics, Throttle Jockey seat cover and a Twin Air filter.
This video covers our first day of testing where we run into the same bogging/hiccup issues with the ECU settings that we found on the stock 2021 Honda CRF450. Luckily Honda was there to fix the problems with their updated ECU maps. If you have a stock or Works Edition 2021 CRF450 and you’ve felt the same hiccups we talk about in this video, take your Honda to your local dealer and have them reflash the ECU for free, under warranty.
