Just checking in to see who is still riding in the area and if anybody is up for a riding weekend this summer. I haven't been out much the past few years and would love to get back out on another group ride.
I should be at Lost Trails most weekends, just let me know when you want to ride. I haven't been on a bike in 18 months due to some medical problems, so I'm gonna have to start out slow this year... well slower than usual.
Anthracite Outdoor Adventure Area (AOAA) http://www.anthraciteadventure.com Is about 6000 acres, and is located between the old Paragon and Tower City. So anybody who has ridden at either knows the terrain. So who is up for a spring ride... Of course there is also Lost Trails in Scranton...
Well, since my 2 year contract with verizon ran out this month, and I got a notice my bill was going up $15 a month, I called and worked out a new contract. For $10 a month more than I was paying for TV/Net, I now get 75/35 instead of 35/35.
OK, since it looks like a spring ride isnt panning out, if anybody is interested in clearing some new single track at Lost Trails either this weekend or next weekend, let me know. I have a few sections mapped out on my GPS, they just need a little clearing and marking, then a lot of riding to...

The way I read it is, you dont need to currently be an AMA member, you can sign up for AMA at the event. But it is misleading in the way they wrote it.
I actually love the snow, but I'm not a fan of the cold weather that comes with it. The big problem with this storm was the over 3 million people without power, and for many of them it may be up to a week before they get it back. I was one of the lucky ones only being out for about 11 hours.
