01 ktm 300 forks

I've got oil leaking from the black rebound ajuster knob on the top of my forks. The parts break down shows a o-ring on the adj.
and and I can see one up inside the fork cap. Has anyone else had this problem and can someone tell me how to fix.

OK so replace the o-ring but how do I get the rebound ajuster knob off with out breaking it

This is normally because when the forks were filled with oil-the tube where the damper rod sits was also filled with oil.This should be empty of oil.It causes oil to seep out the rebound knob.

thanks for the info. I did get oil in the tube the last time I change fork seals. I was trying to make it more difficult than it needed to be.
