02 cr plastics

Hi all,just bought a 2002 cr 250 and would like to know if 00-01 plastics and seat are the same as ive seen some for an 00-01 on ebay and would like to know if they will fit,also a vertex ignition complete for an 01-02 cr 125-250,how can this work on both sizes of bike.

Barrie, The seat is the same, but the plastic is different. The 02'-04' cr's have the 3rd generation frames( the crf 250's have the 4th gen frame). The 02-04 250 motor is also completely different from the 01 and previous models.

The seat is also different. It will go on, but doesn't fit exactly the same.
