02 pc pipe for 00 kx

My buddy wants to sell me his pc pipe and silencer off his 02 kx to me. Will it fit my 00?

it should fit but it may not work as well as the 02 pipe-look on pcs website or ring them to see if the part no is different from the 00 to 02.
